Our aim is a simple one: to help others weave plants into everyday life through growing, gathering, preserving, cooking and making. Because, we believe that plants bind us to the best bits of life and reconnect us to a slower, more deliberate way of living. And we don’t think it’s overstating it to say that learning to tap into the transformative value of plants will change your life, and everyone around you.
WE PROVIDE USEFUL TOOLS + SHARE HELPFUL GUIDES & TIPS
Our hope is that by offering practical goods that we love and have been of great use to us + sharing helpful guides and tips, we will show you how easy it is to start weaving plants into everyday life.
We don't claim to be experts, we can only share the knowledge that we have now. And this knowledge will continue to grow as we delve deeper. Our best claim to authority is that we love plants. We are passionate about their healing qualities, growing our own food, gathering wild food & herbs, and creating our own natural dyes. We have found that by reclaiming these lost but elemental life skills (skills that are learnt by simply starting), plants can easily meet our basic needs, and most importantly, gives us the ability to construct our own lives.
When it comes to our goods, we always keep things simple and carefully choose finished products and raw materials that are produced without the use of toxins or chemicals.
WE ALSO BELIEVE THAT
Nothing beats growing your own food.
Preserving, cooking, and sharing nourishing, seasonal meals is the key to a good life.
Gathering wild and homegrown herbs and turning them into medicine is a good place to start if you want to reclaim your health.
Cultivating natural colour that is not at odds with the planet is always the better choice.
Getting to know our local flora & foliage gives us a deeper sense of place.
Sharing plant-based skills fosters resilient and abundant communities.
By doing all of the above, we learn to cherish more and waste less.
Most of our product shots and a few of our recipe photos are taken by our very good friend + incredibly talented commercial/lifestyle photographer Neil White. If you are a small business owner who needs a little creative help, we highly recommend getting in touch with him. You can email him HERE.
